About me

At Shin Yu Studio my ethos is to breathe new life into unloved objects and to rethink Creativity, Art and Design so that every piece is unique to each customer.

I design with sustainability in mind whenever possible. Therefore, be it Eco-Silver or Broken Wedgwood, Sea pottery or Vintage Fused glass - my concept is ‘eco-friendly. By purchasing my products you 'own a little piece of history' as well as help save our planet.

I take commissions, customize orders and collaborate on projects with both individuals and companies to produce the best customer experience possible.

Rethink, Recycle, Reinvent.

My name is Paolo and I make everything by hand in my small studio either in Stafford or Nottingham, UK. I have had a successful and award winning career within Art, Design and TV/Media for over 25 years which led me to live and work in countries such as Japan, Hong Kong and Singapore aswell as throughout Europe and the UK. I believe in following your passions, living life and laughing a lot!

I hope you like my work, concepts and ideas - and I look forward to working with you or helping you navigate my store. Thank you x

Working with Sustainable Companies & Charities

My work ethos is about Reuse, Recycle and Repurpose to help the planet - little by little. The other passion I have is to promote positivity and belief within people - especially those who may be vulnerable or in need of help.

Therefore another large part of my ethos is to promote empowerment, belief and positivity through my ideas, art and design. I often do this through what I call 'serious fun' as the mental side of it is serious but in certain times I do believe that fun & laughter can help people in hard times.

I am working with several Companies & Charities to try and develop collections that can promote wellbeing and empowerment that a percentage of the profits will go to a charity or organisation that can help the people in need. Please feel free to contact me if I can help.
